KNIGHTS OF THE HOLY TEMPLE

The Knights of the Holy Temple are a group of young men in grades 8-12 who serve at Mass and special liturgies, take part in service to their community and Church, grow in fraternity with one another through activities and outings, and learn what it means to be a man in the example of a father: either spiritual or familial.

To start a chapter:

  1. Invite one or two other men of the parish who you think would make good mentors to join you.

  2. Read through the ‘Guidelines of the Knights’

  3. Decide on how closely you will follow the Rule.  Some parishes embrace the full complement of positions and elections, etc. others choose to do a modified, simpler version.

  4. If you would like to talk to a pastor who has successfully implemented this in our diocese in a modified manner, contact Fr. Jonathan Wilson at St. Paul, Westerville.

  5. Personally invite young men who you think should be in it and then run a bulletin ad to open it to the rest of the 8th-12th grade boys in the parish.
